Not what you expected, eh? But believe me, if you’ve watched any of the Scrubs-esque Cougar Town you know why Ian Gomez is an easy entry in our new series. Cougar Town is one damn funny show, and the source of its humor is not in the randy content as much as in the rhythm and energy coming from the cast. Gomez is an integral part of that ensemble, and he steals every scene he’s in as the laid back, thick skinned Andy Torres, husband to lovable (?) harpy Ellie (Christa Miller).

Whether sharing a “broment” with happy hillbilly Bobby (Brian Van Holt) or pumping his fist after a marital encounter and exclaiming, “Missionary accomplished!” Gomez – real life husband of Nia “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” Vardalos – invests his acting with magnificent composure and comedic timing. All while rocking the horseshoe. We salute you.
