No, really it is. Tonight’s Cotton Bowl features the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Kansas State Wildcats in a matchup otherwise known as “The BCS Screwed Us” Bowl. Both teams have to feel slighted for not getting the nod to the Sugar Bowl, especially after seeing such an empty stadium thanks to Virginia Tech’s lack of ticket sales and both teams lackluster performances. But I digress.

Not even Goldie Hawn could fuck up this pick
The Wildcats two losses on the year came to ranked opponents from the same state. Both Oklahoma teams beat the Wildcats, passing their way to victory, however the OSU defense surrendered 45 points to K-State in the loss. The Razorbacks two blowout losses came to the two teams playing each other in the National Championship Game. So, who do I like?
While I think the Wildcats present a more balanced attack, their two losses came against teams that can throw the ball and play some defense. Arkansas can do one of the two well, which leads me to believe that as long as K-State can do what they’ve done all season — run the ball, win the turnover margin and play well on special teams — they’re a lock getting 9.5 points. Take the Wildcats and enjoy your Friday night winnings!
Be sure to check out my predictions tomorrow for the Pittsburgh/SMU game!
