Curtis doesn’t surf but lives by the ocean, actually six miles from the ocean and frankly hates the ocean and has low opinions of it’s bacterial content. He is a citizen journalist, that is he writes and rarely gets paid for it. Aside from being a full time geek, gamer, father of three and writer he also slums full time as a financial analyst with aspirations of writing for actual money. While he’s considered a n00b in the Social Media universe, he’s quickly gaining notoriety through shameless self promotion and self deprecating humor.
Currently, he contributes to Wired.com as a core member of the GeekDad blogging team. He writes on a frenzied variation of topics ranging from LEGO to video games, books and Social Media, all with his particular blend of humor and sarcasm. He also moonlights as a graphic designer and Tampa Bay sports fan.
